Rules for using the night receipt printer
These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and the publisher of Osly regarding your access to a personal snooze-receipt journal presented as a moonlight printer. By downloading, opening, or continuing to use Osly, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Eligibility without a forced identity layer
You may use Osly without registering or logging into a proprietary Osly identity. You represent that you are able to form a binding agreement under applicable laws and that you will use the app only for personal, non-abusive purposes consistent with these Terms and with Apple’s rules for apps distributed through its storefront.
What Osly is meant to do
Osly lets you start a morning stack, record snooze presses as receipt-like cards, optionally attach a note or image, seal a finished morning, review sealed stacks in Archive, glance at simple delay insights, and adjust tools such as presets, a sleep-cycle helper, a leave-by planner, a snooze budget, and a morning checklist. Decorative moon scenes and printer-style motion are part of the experience but are not medical instruments, clinical sleep trackers, or replacements for your device’s system alarm.
License you receive
Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Osly on devices you own or control, solely for personal use. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works from Osly except to the extent applicable law expressly forbids restricting those acts.
How you should treat the printer stage
- Use stacks, receipts, notes, and attachments only with content you have the right to store on your device.
- Do not attempt to disrupt Osly’s local storage, circumvent spend gates that protect optional features, or interfere with other software on the device.
- Do not use Osly to harass, defraud, or commit unlawful acts.
- Do not misrepresent Osly as a certified medical, therapeutic, or professional sleep-monitoring product.
Materials you place on receipts
Notes, photos, voice stamps, labels, and checklist text you add remain under your responsibility. You grant Osly’s publisher only the narrow technical permission needed to store and display those materials locally inside the app features you invoke. You confirm that implanted images and recordings do not infringe others’ rights and are appropriate for personal device storage. Osly does not operate a public social feed; content generally stays on your installation unless you export or share it through system tools you control.
Intellectual property of Osly
The Osly name, visual night-sky theme, receipt layouts, motion design, bundled sample scenes, and accompanying software are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are transferred to you. Apple and its marks belong to Apple Inc.; references to the App Store or iOS are for compatibility description only.
Outside services you may touch
Sharing an exported stack image, opening a linked policy page in a web view, or using operating-system pickers and sheets may involve third-party interfaces. Those surfaces follow their own terms. Osly is not responsible for the policies or availability of destinations you choose after leaving the in-app receipt stage.
Changes, pauses, and feature evolution
Features may be refined, rearranged, or retired as the product evolves. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version inside Osly or at the linked document location. If you continue using Osly after changes take effect, the revised Terms apply. We may suspend or end access to particular builds if continued distribution would violate storefront rules or applicable laws.
Risks you accept when logging mornings
Osly is a manual journaling aid. It does not guarantee that you will wake on time, that notifications will always deliver, or that decorative moon previews will match every device capability. You remain responsible for configuring system alarms and for any consequences of relying solely on Osly’s records or reminders. Local data can be lost if the device fails, the app is deleted, or storage is cleared; export content you wish to keep outside the app.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, Osly and its publisher provide the app on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular professional purpose. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent allowed by relevant regulatory requirements. Osly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of morning logs, exports, or optional attachments, except where such limitation is prohibited.
Ending your use
You may stop using Osly at any time by deleting the app and, if desired, clearing residual local data beforehand. Provisions that by nature should survive—such as intellectual property ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—continue after you stop using Osly.
Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and other applicable laws that may protect you in your place of residence. Any dispute will be addressed through competent dispute resolution bodies under those frameworks. Nothing in this section is intended to deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
